This User's Manual is to provide comprehensive information about new ATRWeb Premier (Advanced Time Reports Web Premier) system written by Xpress Software Inc. Information and screenshots, presented in User Manual, may vary from the actual information/screenshots used in ATRWeb system, and should be used for reference purposes only. ATR Web is an integral part of a more complicated Time Report system, which includes client, server and web parts:
- ATR Client application is used by each company's employee as a tool to report the time spent by the employee to fulfill various projects. Initially, such information is stored in ATR Client local database but each employee has to upload the information to ATR Server database regularly.
- ATR Server database is used to collect time reports from all company's employees either through ATR Client or ATR Web applications. Moreover, ATR Server database stores the bulk of vital parameters, which provide correct operation of ATR Web application. The lists of customer companies and projects in employees' local databases can also be updated from ATR Server database.
- ATR Web application is used to analyze information received from all employees in a number of specifically designed layouts, to add/edit/delete employee's working hours, to change the list of clients, companies and projects. What is more, ATR Web serves the needs of all parties (i.e. employees, project managers and customers) engaged in product development process providing the program features and specifically designed interfaces for them to be able to retrieve as much information as they need to know.
However, ATR Web wors not only as a part of Time Reports System. It can work standalone, without ATRClient or ATRServer, ot is possible to use it as internet application on the Web or intranet application at local network computers.
All information on employee's working hours to have been uploaded from the employee's local database to the server database will be available for preview, analyzing and editing in ATR Web application ATR Web is a multi-user application provided that each category of users has different rights and permissions to use program options and to access data. In its turn, the permissions are predetermined, to a larger part, with the purposes that each category of users pursues to fulfill their work. Thus, each purpose corresponds to a specific case of using ATR Web application. Using Advanced Time Reports Web program, you can:
- add, edit and remove information on working hours for any specific day in on-line mode;
- make and preview personal time card and reports of various profile;
- determine permissions for various categories of users;
- add, edit and remove users, companies, company groups, departments, projects, locations, clients and service level agreements;
- change personal preferences.
